Insula - Sardinia Quality World territorial marketing program promoted by
the Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce of the Region of Sardinia and the C.I.P.N.E.S.
opens a new wonderful chapter dedicated to the discovery of the villages of our land.
The first promotional destinations were the villages of Alà dei Sardi and Buddusò.
The polyphonic choirs and tenor chants enchanted the audience with their identifying voices.
Real art forms that represent, today as yesterday,
a concentrate of the tradition and culture of our island.
The presence of the traditonal masks of Mamuthones, Issohadores and
Cambas de linna, who played a traveling show in the streets of the villages. Vanni Masala and Andrea Pisu of Fantafolk,
have been able, as always, to interpret Sardinia with their unique and identity instruments, Launeddas and Organetto,
undisputed protagonists of the musical history of our land.
The flavors and aromas of the island's food and wine have always played a role of great importance for us.
The processing of fresh pasta from the Dosart laboratory, the carving of traditional traditional breads by Vittoria Arimani,
the unique and enveloping taste of the typical sweets of La Golosa, the processing of cheeses and cured meats by the Satta brothers, accompanied
from the strictly Made in Sardinia wines and beers of the Cantina di Monti, the Giogantinu Winery and the Santu Jorgi brewery, have formed a path
itinerant food and wine along the streets of the historic centers of the villages of Alà and Buddusò. Present at the event, the Casiddos farm,
specialized in the production of honey and natural cosmetic products,
Teresa Deiana's farm with a vast assortment of typical products,
the processing of nougat from the Crobe laboratory and the traditional cured meats and cheeses of Fabiano Cossu.
Art and design have come together in a journey between tradition and innovation, the Ateliers of Sonia Flauto, Paola Sailis, Marco Marongiu and Tiziana Cabboi have
shown to the public of the events, their creations in the fashion show "Sardinia yesterday and today", combining ancient colors, fabrics and processes with modern cuts and shapes.
Valeria Masala, MeMa Ceramiche, Francesca Sanna and Raimondo doneddu,
present at the events of the villages to show the typical processing of the Nule carpet,
of ceramics and masks and also the identity processing of cork.
A journey to discover the villages of Sardinia has opened the summer season of the Insula events,
enhancing the wonderful rural districts, able to fascinate every traveler
and represent the beating heart of our wonderful island.
