It was an emotional Journey through our arts, design and enogastronomic excellence, surrounded by the magical sound of Launeddas,

harmonicas and beautiful folk songs, accompanied by our beautiful traditional costumes made of thousands of colors,

    ___________

Our master craftsman showed to the audience their amazing creations such as:

Sardinian carpets represent one of the most iconic artistic productions in the island,

since weaving is one of the most widespread artisanal activities throughout the island, it is mainly differentiated by decorations

(in Sardinian, mostras), subdivided into geometric patterns, of plants, of the animal world,

of heraldic symbols and mythological figures. For the weaving of tablecloths,

curtains and linen cushions, they use a very laborious technique called a ranos (grain of wheat) or pibiones (grape berries)

where a larger thread of extra weft is pulled out creating rings or picots in relief which will form the decorative motif.

    ___________

The Olbia Folk Ensemble (Folk Choir) delighted the audience singing beautiful Sardinian folk songs

accompanied by the traditional dance of Olbia’s Folk Group.
