BARRILE RED WINE ISOLA DEI NURAGHI IGT cl. 75 - Contini
The union of native Sardinian grapes gives rise to the "Barrile", Rosso with the denomination "Isola dei Nuraghi" labeled Contini. It is a Red that rests for at least a year in oak barrels, of first and second passage, to get to give an elegant and complex sip, in which the balsamic nuances and the spicy tertiary tones chase each other and alternate, going to make up a truly drink of high thickness, capable of leaving indelible traces in the minds of all those who are lucky enough to try it. It is a Rosso, the "Barrile", in which the Contini wineries contain over a century of enological knowledge and skills, offering us a prestigious and qualitatively excellent label.

Deep ruby red in the glass, characterized by slightly inked nuances. The nose is intense and deep, composed of hints of sour cherries in alcohol and overripe berries, then enriched with references to the undergrowth and balsamic nuances. The taste is full-bodied and smooth, consistent and supported by a well-worked tannic texture, with a long persistence and characterized by an aftertaste that recalls cigar tobacco.
Excellent with both roasted meats and cheeses, it is perfect with spicy Sardinian pecorino.
