    INSULA was proud to be present at the 25th edition of “Artigiano in Fiera” – Craftmanship Fairto portray the passion and know - how of Sardinian master craftsmanship, accompanied by the Claim

     “ Discovering a World called Sardinia”

     continues the promotional and informative Journey of Tourism, crafts and trades Department of Region Sardinia and CIPNES,

     implementer institution of the territorial marketing program “INSULA – Sardinia Quality World”, to portray the Destination Sardinia through Art, Design of Master Craftsman of Sardinia,

     the culture and the amazing enogastronomical heritage of a land symbol of life quality, biodiversity, longevity and millennial arts.

     

     

     

     

    “INSULA - Sardinia Quality World” program has been presented to the Fair attendee from 4th to 12th of December in the Milan Fair context, hosting 1800 exhibitors from about 80 different countries, stronglysupported by the Tourism, crafts and trade Council Member of Region Sardinia Gianni Chessa.

    From the very first day, Sardinia was the star of the event, creating a magical journey through artistic performances of Arts, Music and Folklore most outstanding interpreters, coordinated from Maria Carta Foundation,

    And from the presentation of Master Craftsmanship workshops of Sardinia, supported and coordinated by CIPNES institution,

    guiding the fair audience through a fascinating experiential voyage to discover the art of weaving with the carpet workshop, passing through the coral and iron working and the typical Sardinian bread, sweets and pasta process.

    The audience has been involved in every workshop and show cooking phases, tasting the INSULA chef and artisan food productions.

    In INSULA fair area was possible to experience the passion of our Master Craftsmen of Sardinia, Valeria Masala shared the secrets of the carpet working process.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    The audience have been involved in the coral and iron workshop, portrayed by the fascinating creations of Daniele Simula and Roberto Ziranu

     

     

     

     

    In the INSULA food area, Caterina Fenu presented to the audience every pasta making process phases, a journey through Culurgiones (Sardinian dumplings), Lorighittas and Maccarones de Busa (Typical Sardinian pasta shape).

    Simonetta Bazzu showed to the audience the creative working process of traditional artistic bread.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    In the sweet workhop area, Mario Pinna prepared deliicious Formaggelle, Ricottelle, Papassinos and Sospiri.

     

     

     

      

    Luigi Gana, chief of  Aggius Museum, who together with our artists and artisans, created an emotional storytelling dedicated the Sardinian know - how.
